About Sonia
Sonia is the founder of Revivingyoga. Yoga changed her life — after a challenging chapter and two years in India, she trained as a yoga teacher and has run her own studio since 2014.
Originally shaped by Ashtanga and Iyengar (alignment and props), she now integrates Yin, Restorative, yoga for seniors, Yoga Nidra, Pilates and yoga therapy — often accompanied by contemporary music.

Acceptance
„Yoga isn't about touching your toes, it's about what you learn on the way there.“
Mindfulness
„There is already enough competition in your life. Revivingyoga is about you, and about doing something good for yourself.“
Balance
„Bring work, family and yourself into balance by becoming your own personal coach.“
My path to yoga is shaped by a solid scientific understanding of the human body. As a doctor of natural sciences specialising in cell physiology and microbiology, I combine this knowledge with years of yoga experience and continuous further training.
In small groups there is room for personal guidance and a mindful, individual practice. Every body is different — so the yoga practice is adapted accordingly. The body doesn't have to adapt to the pose; the pose adapts to the body.
